The Institute of Martial Arts
and Sciences is a completely new concept in martial arts. It has been formed by a group of high-ranking
martial arts instructors, educators, researchers and academics with the following goals in mind:

encourage education and research in the martial arts

To promote professionalism throughout the martial arts and amongst martial arts instructors in particular

To afford martial artists the opportunity of obtaining recognised and accredited qualifications

To act as a platform to encourage academic debate
There are a great deal of different martial arts and sciences,
many of which possess their own particular set of philosophies and traditions as well as techniques. The institute seeks to
unite all of these schools and styles under the banner of mutual trust, respect and cooperation, encouraging the exchange
of different ideas and opinions towards the advancement of existing knowledge.
