Introduction to Instruction




Aim: To serve as a basic introduction to instructional techniques
Objective: To train and certificate those new to teaching the martial arts in the basic methods of instruction
Course contents:
· Planning of learning
· Delivery of learning
· Assessment of learning
Duration: One day (6Hrs)
Assessment: Tutor observations of Classroom activities
Who is it for? This course is suitable for:
· New black belts
· Assistant instructors
· Any martial artists aspiring to become an instructor
Cost:
· IMAS Members: £45.00
· Non-Members: £75.00
(Includes registration, learning materials and IMAS/NCFE certificate)
Please note: A non-refundable deposit must be paid with registration for the course.
· IMAS Members: £20.00
· Non –Members: £40.00
Progression: Learners who successfully complete this course can move on to the IMAS Level 1 Introduction to Teaching and Learning Certificate
